CHRISTMAS WISHES 2017

Happy Christmas wishes to all our Devon lady golfers.

It has been a busy year for the DCLGA, not least with the merger talks with Devon Golf Ltd to have a united golf body for Devon in 2018. We have crossed the first hurdle and the Delegates' votes returned 31 clubs agreeing with the proposals to take the merger forward, and only 2 clubs against. The next stage is the AGM on Friday, 19th January 2018 at Exeter Golf & Country Club when every individual lady can cast their vote. It is the most important vote you can make as a Devon lady golfer and, for or against the merger, please come and take part in deciding the right way forward for ladies' golf in Devon.

If you are still undecided, you can see the joint presentations given by DCLGA and DGL - click here.

Our 2018 County competitions have been well supported and, for the first time, we held a Ladies' Senior County Championship - and Vicky Holloway was a worthy winner. All the much loved County competitions will still continue under a merged Devon golf body - and we look forward to seeing more of you play in the 2018 County Championship, Senior Championship, Western Morning News Trophies, Bronze & Silver Division Meetings, Express & Echo Shield, Warren Crocus Salvers, the County Bowmaker, the President's Trophy, Doris Willis-Little, Sheelah Creasy Bowl and the Still Cup. Every year is a busy year and thank you to all the amazing volunteers on your DCLGA committee who make it happen.

Onwards and upwards for golf in Devon in 2018 - regardless of age or gender.
