Devon Success in EG SW Foursomes

The England Golf South West Foursomes were held at Broadstone Golf Course in Dorset on Thursday 6th October.  Competitors from all over the South West enjoyed a great day of competitive golf on a tremendous golf course.  Prizes were in three categories; gross medal, nett medal and a handicap stableford so all players had something to play for what ever their level. Players from Devon showed up well in the prizes. Jo Shorrocks (Bigbury) & Keeley Clarke (Torquay) were the winners of the gross medal competition and the trophy with a gross 75.  Dawn Cottam & Cheryl Watson (Bovey Tracey) won the stableford competition with Rosemary Ferguson & Gro Lomas (RND) second.  This means the the trophy stays in Devon as last year's winners were Abby Turner (Okehampton) and Kayleigh Cann (Tavistock).
