In  2012 we are starting a new Order of Merit competition for all Devon girls with CONGU handicaps.

The following competitions will count towards points for an order of merit:

April 5^th  DCJGS Spring Meeting  (Yelverton)

June 7^th  Devon Girls Championship (Stover)

June 24^th Churston Junior open

June 24 ^th RND Junior open

July 27^th Exeter Junior open

August 5^th Tiverton Junior open

August 23^rd DCJGS Autumn Meeting (Portmore)

The winner will receive a voucher for a leading High St. retailer (e.g. Top Shop)

RULES                   

In order to be eligible girls must be registered with the Devon County Organiser and have an active CONGU handicap.

Points will be awarded based on the position of the Devon girls in the event not on the overall result i.e. as if the Devon girls were the only players in the event. The places will be based on the net scores achieved.

Points will be awarded as follows: highest placed girl = 10 points

                                                              2^nd placed girl        =  9 points

Etc down to 1 point for 10^th place.

If less than 10 girls play in an event then points will be awarded to the last placed girl only.
