Tiverton's Jess Bradley
Lynn University women’s golfer Jessica Bradley has been tabbed the first
Sunshine State Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week as announced the league
office on Monday. Bradley tied for first individually while helping the Fighting
Knights claim a team victory at the Tusculum/Kiawah Island Intercollegiate.
A freshman out of Bishops Nympton, England, Bradley opened her spring season by
tying for first among 89 golfers. She set personal-bests for lowest round (71)
and lowest 36-hole score (144) in tying Armstrong Atlantic’s Kristen Sammarco
atop the leaderboard. Bradley’s performance helped the Blue & White win the team
title at the 18-team event. The squad posted a school and tournament record 285
in the final round of play while their 19-stroke victory was the largest ever at
the Kiawah Island Intercollegiate.
Lynn returns to the links on Monday, February 20, when it participates in the
Lady Moc Classic in Lakeland, Fla.
